first day

we are on our way, the flight was 45 minutes late leaving, the engineers had to check something, and after that we had inside seats, making sleeping a bit awkward, food was good though. Singapore airport was so easy and luggage was through really quickly, out of airport and into taxi in approx 30 minutes - it is 30 degrees and humid.
Hotel is cheap and cheerful and very clean, not seen many redlights yet! found a nice restaurant last night called NO SIGNBOARD, we had deer meat, thai chicken and noodles-lovely.
Caught the bus into city approx 60pence each, and went onaboat cruise around Marina Bay, and saw part of the grand prix track,

 then an open bus trip hopon hopoff, we hopped off at Raffles hotel and went to the Long Bar for a Singapore Sling (alcoholic drink), it was lovely, Sandra you need to take out a mortgage, £37 for 3 drinks ouch.

    



Back at hotel chilling (literally, before we go for dinner, Colin is talking about having bullfrog!!!!!!!!!!!1
